I am Sophia Carrillo Dahl, and I am currently the President of the Creighton School Board and seeking re-election for a four-year term.
I am a first-generation American, a bilingual activist, and a strong, enduring mother of two school-aged children in the Creighton School District. For the last eight years, I have been actively involved in campaigns that unite educators, aid the children in the school district, and progressively strengthen the community. My passion lies in connecting with all people and providing an educated, supportive voice for those in my community that might not otherwise have one. I have actively promoted and improved voting in "low-vote" areas and have made huge strides in getting the community to approve bonds and overrides that benefit the district. |
