I am Sophia Carrillo Dahl, and I am currently the President of the Creighton School Board and seeking re-election for a four-year term.

I am a first-generation American, a bilingual activist, and a strong, enduring mother of two school-aged children in the Creighton School District.

For the last eight years, I have been actively involved in campaigns that unite educators, aid the children in the school district, and progressively strengthen the community. My passion lies in connecting with all people and providing an educated, supportive voice for those in my community that might not otherwise have one. I have actively promoted and improved voting in "low-vote" areas and have made huge strides in getting the community to approve bonds and overrides that benefit the district.

My vision is simple, a message of unity between educators, children, schools, and parents. With my experience and passion for children, my years advocating for change within education, I am the definition of a catalyst for change that will amplify the district.
